About Me
I’m a hearing loss educator, accessibility consultant, and assistive technology trainer. Teaching and advocating for others is a passion. My journey started in second grade when I taught my classmates about hearing loss and hearing aids. This experience made me want to educate others. Encouragement to teach with care came from my mom.
My Early Career in Hearing Loss
As a young adult I studied to be a teacher for the deaf and hard of hearing. I worked with students of all ages in public schools, specializing in assistive technology and self-advocacy. Helping students navigate the challenges of hearing loss with confidence was one of my labors of love.
